For ElvUI to automatically skin addons such as DBM, Skada, etc., where would I put the addon folder? Would it be...
C:world of warcraftInterfaceAddonsSkada
or c:world of warcraftInterfaceAddonsElvUISkins...
Also, the screenshots on tukui.org seem to suggest I'd see the addon under the Skins option in the ElvUI options interface, but no matter where I save the other addons it never shows up.
I see the instuctions on tukui.org, but to me they're not very clear. Please help! Thanks!

AddOns always get installed in your World of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns folder.
Thanks, where would I see the addon in the ElvUI options area then, as the screenshots on their website show? Can't seem to find where the option would be for Elv to skin these other addons...
ElvUI itself only skins Blizzard's UI, and any addon made with the Ace3 library. For skinning anything else, you need ElvUI plugns, such as 'Tukui & ElvUI Extra Skins/Options' ( http://www.tukui.org/addons/index.php?act=view&id=50 ). Those plugins go into the main addon folder, just like any other addon.
For the one mentioned, for example, you'll have a folder World of WarcraftInterfaceAddOnsTukui_ElvUI_Skins just like the instructions indicate. If it's installed correctly, you'll see it in the list of addons when you click the Addons button on the character select screen.
In the ElvUI in-game config (accessed with /ec ), the Skins section has a + that lets you expand it, and an Addons section under that, which can also be expanded. You'll find the options for skinning plugins there.
Using ElvUI has no effect whatsoever on the way you install any other addons. DBM is DBM, Skada is Skada.

Thank you Ratatoskr, I appreciate the reply!
For whatever reason I don't see the + next to the Skins option in the ElvUI control panel. I have Skada installed in interfaceaddons. Do I need to enable something in ElvUI options for the + to show up next to Skins?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
The + is enabled by ElvUI plugins, such as the one I linked above (theoretically other plugins could enable the + but I have no idea if any others actually do).
Skada is not an ElvUI plugin. Skada is an entirely separate addon. ElvUI by itself does not touch Skada (or any other addon*) in any way.

If you install that correctly, you will have 'Tukui & ElvUI Skin/Options' listed in your addons. That plugin/addon will enable the + next to Skins in the ElvUI config, and allow you to skin Skada (along with a bunch of other addons).
*Unless it uses the Ace3 library.

Crap, I see it now... This is a separate addon, I thought it was built into ElvUI... I didn't see the download link at the bottom of the page until just now. Duh, sorry for the confusion :)
